LIVELIHOOD PROGRAM
Alay Buhay's Livelihood program equips individuals in resource-challenged communities with the skills and resources they need to thrive. Through Livelihood and Business Skills Training Seminars in in-demand areas like meat processing, chocolate making, and vegetable noodle production, participants gain the confidence to launch their own micro-businesses.
The program complements skills training with financial tools. Established in 1999, Alay Buhay's Microfinance Program offers productive loans, microsavings accounts, and affordable insurance. Combined with ongoing business development support including business planning and marketing guidance, Alay Buhay empowers individuals to transform their skills into sustainable businesses.
The Microfinance Program has expanded beyond Metro Manila, with branches in Quezon City 1, Bulacan, Antipolo/Marikina, and Rodriguez.
